AS400配备了X-Y-Z运动系统，用于实现可自由配置的处理参数，比如处理密度、最大轨迹宽度等，并精确设定喷嘴到基材表面的距离。处理速度可从1米/分钟到最大100米/分钟之间无级设定，轨迹宽度可以每次1毫米的增量调整。从喷嘴到基材表面的距离可以连续地手动调节，最大距离不超过40毫米。
